40th Dance on Camera Festival Starts Today
The Film Society of Lincoln Center, NY is hosting the 40th edition of the Dance on Camera Festival, presented in partnership with Dance Films Association, this weekend. The festival includes world premieres, in-person appearances, free events, a student film competition, and dozens of great films about dance.

Dance Theatre Of Harlem Company Returns
2012 marks the return of the groundbreaking Dance Theatre of Harlem Company with new dancers and a repertoire of exciting new commissions and DTH favorites. Online auditions are currently open and in-person auditions start January 14 in San Francisco.
Auditions for ABT Studio Company
Over the weekend American Ballet Theatre held open auditions for the ABT Studio Company in Long Beach, CA and will resume auditions on Saturday, March 3, in New York City. To audition for the ABT Studio Company, dancers must be between the ages of 16-19 years old and have reached an advanced level of ballet training. Space is extremely limited.

Steven Caras: See Them Dance on WXEL
On Monday, February 20 at 9:00 pm, WXEL Public Television of West Palm Beach will present Steven Caras: See Them Dance, the enormously popular documentary that takes a look at the life of the world famous dance photographer. With New York City Ballet in its golden age as the setting, the documentary by Emmy Award-winning film-maker, Deborah Novak, charts the life story of Caras, who became NYCB’s youngest male dancer.
